PLAYSPACES

You can play anywhere at our 200+ acre camp. But you will love the many well appointed playspaces located all over camp. Each space will put you in a different mood with great music, lighting, decore and of course world class dungeon furniture.

The main playspace is a huge Gymnasium with a stage at one end. We drape the walls with black curtaining and build dividers to create intimate theme areas within the space. Here you will find equipment for almost any type of scene including medical, massage, wax, interrogations, suspension, and all types of bondage and impact play on the horses, crosses and beams. There is a special group grope room off the main dungeon which lets you explore your wild side when the mood strikes.

The Barn is a smaller more intimate space on the other side of camp. This space takes on different moods each year such as last year's dark vampirish theme repleat with a coffin and alter. The Pavillion is a multi-use space and has great equipment for spur of the moment scenes. There are tons of areas all over camp to play, bring your toybag and let your imagination run free.

KIDNAPPING

Have you ever wanted to be taken away, used and abused, tied teased and tormented by a complete stranger or a whole gang? Your fantasy may come true!

The idea is to allow anyone, top or bottom, to feel the that adrenaline rush that comes from the unexpected. To play out those fantasies we're afraid to admit to and do it in a safe and sane way. The Kidnapping committee's job is to match people up with common interests and help fulfill their fantasy. This isn't a dating service, this is fantasy realization. Be careful what you ask for, someone may come, take you away ... and really do it ... REALLY.

Kidnapping Rules:

• There are NO guarantees that your fantasy kidnapping will happen or that things will come out exactly as planned, but we will try. You may request a specific fantasy kidnapper to participate, but again, no guarantees.
• You may be kidnapped at anytime during the weekend without notice. You may however, specify times and days when you absolutely cannot be kidnapped. (Chores, special class, etc)
• The Camp Safeword, "RED", applies to all scenes including kidnappings. Don't forget this is supposed to be fun ... and safe ... for everyone.

The Kidnapping Committee is run by all volunteers and as such is only as much fun as we all make it. We need both Kidnappers and Kidnappees to make this happen. There is plenty more information in the attendees only area once you've registered for camp.

GROUP GROPE ROOM

For those who like to explore and be explored. The Grope Room is the ultimate place for the sexualy uninhibited among us. We started these rooms out of necessity at our old camp where we had to hide any sexual activity from the camp staff. Now that we are at an all adult facility we don't "need" a special room for this kind of stuff .. but it sure is fun.

As with all group rooms, being in one doesn't mean that you're expected to engage just anyone who comes in. But you sure shouldn't be offended if your asked.

STATE FAIR

As is Leather Retreat tradition, on Saturday afternoon we take a break from classes and gather together for a picnic lunch, and do some shopping. Vendors from all over bring out there best and host an afternoon shopping spree. We spice up the action with a dunk tank, fair style games and food, pony rides, and the SM Games.

Camp is about being part of the action. We lay the framework but you make it special. We've had attendees volunteer to teach belly dancing, wander about the crowd reciting love sonnets during our "Renn Fair", stilt walkers, carnival barkers, and we even played "catch the greased pig" with a naked, greased femcar replete with curly tail! SM Games: Since the inception of Leather Retreat, each year we pit 4-6 teams against each other in LR's version of the Olympics ... the SM Games. The tension is high, the competition is fierce and the games are a riot to watch! Form a team with your friends, cabin mates or club members and show us what you're made of!

Vending: What started out as a way of trading some of your unused leather items for someone else's unused toy, has turned into a giant vending event attended by a bunch of professional vendors. We are still true to our original concept of a swap meet, there are no vendor fees and anyone can set up a table. Read the Vendor Information Page for all the details.

PAMPORIUM

The Pamporium, an LR exclusive, offers you body massage, facials, hot waxing, foot bathes, a shoe shine and other goodies in a tranquil setting to sooth your nerves and pamper your body. Each year, Tops and bottoms line up to make appointments and many return throughout the weekend for seconds!

Make your appointments early this year and get the treatment you really deserve. Our volunteers make The Pamporium the success it is every year. Check off Pamporium for your volunteer duty if you want to partake in this unique activity from the pamporing side.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

For years we hosted a Pony Camp at Leather Retreat, but we have expanded that concept to include all creatures great and small. We invite all our creative friends to bring their 4 legged alter ego to Leather Retreat. We will make sure they get plenty of attention.

FIRE PIT

Each evening, after the auctions, the contests, and the parties ... down by the lake ... we light a huge bonfire. This is where you can rediscover the lost art of making S'mores (a grahm cracker sandwhich of hershey's chocholate and toasted marshmellows). Some nights we try our hand at african drumming and dance naked around the flames. Other times we simply hang out, drink a beer, and plot out Placido's revenge.
